| September 6, 1996 A call from Walter Robinson, now editor of Artnet Magazine (Cyberzine). Am I interested in photographing a group of new artists that his wife Anastasia Aukeman has curated for a show at Artists Space? Yes, Walter, but I'm kinda busy. Ok, ok, ok, next Tuesday.
September 10, 1996 9:00 AM shoot in the South Bronx for NYTimes and 1:30 PM shoot with Al Shanker... a great face, struggling against cancer. 4:00 PM meeting with Elizabeth Biondi at the New Yorker Magazine. Havenāt seen her since the Geo days, the magazine, not the art movement. Then, rush back to studio (cab $5.50, thanks Andy), for 5:30 shoot with Walter's wife's Artists. Very good group and clearly smart. Strange to find myself so out of touch that I donāt know any of these artists. Only, Michael Zahn is familiar, he works for Peter Halley. Must see the show...38 Greene St., 3rd Fl.
September 18, 1996 Call Anastasia to get the 9 artists to fax me a one line statement about their art for my filecards.
