| April 7. 1995 11:00 AM Artist/filmmakers shoot for NY Magazine with Robert Longo and some of the stars of the his movie, Johnny Mneumonic...Barbara Sukova (his wife), and Henry Rollins. Michel Voyski arranged for Keon to do grooming. Everyone quite relaxed on set. Longo just back from Japan doing press on Mneumonic. Sukova and I discuss our mutual friends writer Peter Jungk and photographer Lillian Burnbaum. Henry Rollins is really cool. Heās smart, quick witted and also in unbelievable shape. Must workout 7/24/365. Wish I could find my Black Flag tapes. We talk about computers. Film: Kodak, Camera: Deardorff, 8x10 and 11x14.
5/07/95 7:00 PM Screening of Robert Longo's new movie Johnny Mneumonic at Sony, Broadway at 64th. Extraordinary achievement for Robert. After the screening talked to writer Brian d'Amato, Barbara Sukova, ex-editor Craig Bromberg, (now with Time Inc.'s Internet) and William Gibson, who wrote the screenplay for Mneumonic. Note: Try to photograph Gibson if possible. 5/11/95 11:00 AM William Gibson to studio for portrait. He coined the name Cyberspace. Extremely easy going, very tall, very thin. Lives in Canada. His book Neuromancer is a classic. According to GoMan Michael Simon, "Neuromancer changed the world, it gave us the idea that virtual realities can be real." Film: Kodak, Camera: Deardorff, 8x10 and 11x14. |
